Prepreg Carbon Fiber Fabric is a presentation form of carbon fiber composite materials, which involves impregnating carbon fibers into a resin. The carbon fiber prepreg sheet formed after sufficient infiltration. From carbon fiber to carbon fiber prepreg, it is actually not as simple as impregnation, because the merger of carbon fiber and resin is very difficult, requiring a series of processes such as coating, hot pressing, cooling, laminating, and curling to complete.
Prepreg Carbon Fiber can be divided into carbon fiber prepreg tape and carbon fiber prepreg cloth according to different production methods, and there are thermosetting carbon fiber prepreg and thermoplastic carbon fiber prepreg according to different resin materials. Unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg has the maximum strength in the fiber direction and is used to make boards, while woven carbon fiber prepreg has good strength in different weaving directions and can be used in different structures. Compared to thermosetting and thermoplastic materials, thermoplastic carbon fiber prepreg has the characteristic of recyclable reshaping.
