0.032 inch (0.80 mm) carbon fiber sheet:These are quite hard carbon fiber boards, but still have some flexibility. They are almost as thick as audio CDs. Carbon fiber boards with this thickness are usually used flat, but they can be bent around cylinders with a diameter of 10-12 inches. These are used as semi-rigid thin plates or lightweight structural materials. Metal scissors, saws, blades, or abrasive cutting wheels can be used to cut this thickness.
0.125 inch (3.175 mm) carbon fiber board: This 1/8'' thick carbon fiber sheet is very enduring and sturdy. It is a good material for structural applications. Use a saw, hard alloy, bimetallic or diamond coated cutting tool to cut this thickness of carbon fiber board.
