The difference for Woven and Knitted aramid fiber fabric

Household textiles can be divided into three types based on fabric types: woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and non-woven fabrics.

Woven fabrics are composed of two or more perpendicular systems of yarns or silk threads interwoven on a loom according to certain rules, forming a fabric called woven fabric. The longitudinal yarn is called warp yarn, and the transverse yarn is called weft yarn. The basic organization includes plain, twill, and satin.

The tool used in knitted fabrics is the "needle", which bends the needle into a coil shape according to the order of the yarn, and then strings the coils together to form a fabric that can be horizontally or vertically woven. Horizontal weaving is called weft weaving, while vertical weaving is called warp weaving.

Knitted fabrics have a large amount of yarn storage per unit length, so they have good elasticity. Knitted fabrics are woven from one yarn, so the fabric has no burrs, while machine woven fabrics are woven from two yarns, warp and weft, so there are burrs.
