Black technology for the world's longest 126 meter offshore wind turbine blades

Developed by Dongfang Wind Power, the 18 MW direct drive offshore wind power unit stands at sea level. This unit not only breaks through numerous technological barriers, but also is currently the world's largest single unit capacity and largest impeller diameter direct drive offshore wind turbine that has been taken offline. The length of a single blade can reach 42 floors of a tall building, and it can even stand up in strong winds of 80 meters per second.

This blade goes further on traditional fiberglass blades and adopts a carbon fiber structure with better stability at key positions such as the main beam cap, known as the "king of new materials". Carbon fiber has higher strength and modulus, and is mainly used in fields such as aerospace, luxury cars, and high-end sports equipment. In terms of strength and weight, carbon fiber is the best material for manufacturing blades.

The blades adopt ultra long flexible blade aeroelastic stability design and lightweight structural design, breaking through many technological barriers such as pultruded carbon fiber plate integral forming and ultra long blade shell injection.
